The team
Enterprise engineering. Discovery, architecture, delivery and run for the systems clients operate on.
About the role
You build the mobile side of our systems, including the parts that have to keep working when the connection does not. Field staff and counter operators are the users, often in buildings with poor coverage.
What you will do
- Build and ship mobile applications against our own APIs.
- Design offline behaviour, local storage and the sync that reconciles it.
- Work with hardware where the engagement needs it: scanners, printers, card readers.
- Handle store releases and the support that follows them.
What you will bring
- Shipped mobile applications that other people have installed and used.
- Understanding of the platform's lifecycle, permissions and background limits.
- Experience treating intermittent connectivity as a design problem rather than an error state.
- Testing habits on real devices, not only simulators.
