The team
Enterprise engineering. Discovery, architecture, delivery and run for the systems clients operate on.
About the role
You shape the architecture during discovery and stay attached while it is built and run. Architecture here is not handed to a separate team once the diagram is finished.
What you will do
- Run discovery with the client and turn what you learn into an architecture.
- Set the integration approach, the data model and the non functional requirements.
- Review the build against the design, and adjust the design when it is wrong.
- Stay involved through go-live and the first year of operation.
What you will bring
- Experience designing systems that were then actually built and run.
- Fluency in integration patterns, data modelling and security requirements.
- The ability to explain a technical decision to a non technical client sponsor.
- Comfort being accountable for a design afterwards, because there is no handover.
