The team
Cloud and infrastructure. Architecture, security, and the day-to-day operation of live systems.
About the role
You design and run the cloud footprint for client systems, including the ones with data residency requirements. Some of it runs where the client insists rather than where it would be easiest.
What you will do
- Design cloud architecture for cost, resilience and the client's constraints.
- Build it as code and keep that code the source of truth.
- Handle networking, identity and the security boundaries.
- Keep an eye on spend, and be able to explain it.
What you will bring
- Production experience with at least one major cloud.
- Infrastructure as code you have maintained over time, not written once.
- Understanding of networking and identity, not only the console.
- Awareness of local data residency and hosting requirements.
